Our story began at a local CrossFit gym in Lake Forest, Illinois. We both joined within a month or so of each other.

It didn't take long before we became workout partners, and our self-appointed "gym mom" quickly decided we'd make a great couple. Sam agreed and asked Davis out for pizza. She politely declined...more than once. But after a little persistence (and some encouragement from our gym friends), she finally said yes...right before leaving Illinois for podiatry externships. Her thinking was simple: If the date went badly, she'd never have to see him again. If it went well...our relationship would definitely be put to the test.

Thankfully, it went very well.

Over the next few years, our relationship was built on encouragement, laughter, and cheering each other on through every challenge. Sam eventually followed Davis to Florida, where she began residency, always making sure she had everything she needed to pursue her dream of becoming a foot and ankle surgeon.

Three years later, Sam asked Davis to marry him on top of Glassy Mountain, the mountain where she grew up, surrounded by the people we love most. It was the easiest "yes" we've ever shared.

From workout partners to best friends, we've built a life rooted in love, faith, adventure, and supporting one another through every season. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
